Patient Concerns

Concerns of Hospitalized Patients and their Families

During a hospital stay, patients or their families may have questions or concerns about care, accommodations or other aspects of hospital service. Davis Medical Center and Broaddus Hospital encourage patients and family members to talk about concerns with the nurse, nurse manager or social worker as an essential method of assessing and improving delivery of care. Any patient and/or family member whose expectations concerning hospital care have not been met may register a concern or complaint without fear of reprisal.

Arvela Koerner, Patient Experience Coordinator, is available to discuss with the patient or family any questions regarding care. Please call 304.637.3773

The Patient Concern Form is not to be used for emergencies. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911. The Davis Medical Center Patient Experience Coordinator will respond to messages and phone calls during normal business hours only.
